but very straightforwardly sometimes i am blinded in my interpretation of characters by the simple fact that casual sex has never been part of my personal experience and in fact I have absolutely no idea how two people would hypothetically make that happen if they wanted to

he already at minimum committed a metaphorical rape and I think that people who read it as a literal rape have good reading comprehension skills. (personally I read that scene as him having handled her naked out of something *he* would frame as necessity although again. something worse is possible)

it should probably be better to admit that a character might have raped than to not admit it and yet for some reason I have this doom knell that adding that to the pile would make matters worse. even though I think it's worse to not look at it straight

also like I said manosphere but this thing was pre manosphere it was truly just about what happens when you go well I can't be a person until I have victimized and owned someone else according to my terms. why would that be evil that's how it WORKS!
