Hello, all ^^ I'm really grateful for all the kindness toward me during my hiatus. I'm still processing my loss, I miss Sora so much, but unfortunately bills and day-to-day expenses wait for no one to heal, right?

So I'll be opening some slots for Trick-or-Treat icons on October 1st. Stay tuned 😊

🗒️ Just posted a public newsletter covering - what I believe to be - the main points of interest for those who support my work.

It's more of a detailed heads up but still useful to know what I'm up to during hiatus. Thank you all for the patience and kindness so far ❤️‍🩹

My birthdate (February 1993) gave me the chance to pay a small homage to my late cat Sora, whose Pokémon counterpart has always been shiny Skitty ☺️

He's my beloved son in every universe, so I'm a Delcatty! 💖 🐈

#pokemon #delcatty #skitty #pokesona #nekokoe🍍
A pokésona form for me, a Delcatty, walking beside my cat Sora's pokémon counterpart, a shiny Skitty (who later evolves into Delcatty too). I hold his tail with mine like a mother who walks holding hands with her child.

Yesterday, I lost a part of my own heart.

You'll be sorely missed, Sora. I hope I was able to give as much love and as much of a fun ride as you gave me. My love for you will never wane. You'll forever be my beloved son.

Thank you for everything. We'll meet again someday, I'm sure of it.
🖤
A homage I drew for my late cat, Sora, who passed yesterday (March 23th 2026). He lived a very full life for the past 14 years, and I hope I could change his life the way he changed mine forever.

💎 Pokémas Sygna Suit design & refsheet commission made for the ever awesome @cajunfoxnight.bsky.social of their trainersona Gus back in 2023!

I realized I hadn't posted it on FA yet, so I'm taking the cue to post it here as well ^^

#comm ✦ #digitalart ✦ #reference ✦ #refsheet ✦ #pokemon ✦ #pokemas
A reference sheet of the character Gus, with front and back view, showing the design of his Sygna Suit inspired by Suicune and added lore text and color palettes. In the Pokémon Masters EX mobile game, a sygna suit is a special outfit that makes a Trainer match the appearance of their partner Pokémon as if they've become one, deepening their bonds.

Art and Nationality
A commission drawn in 2018 for @cajunfoxnight depicting their fursona, Night, their husband Fido's fursona and pet dog Lance in a snowy scenery. A commission drawn in 2019 for @sirgallade of his Gallade OC rescuing a friend's (Allycatt on FA) OC from a forest fire. The fire is still raging on in the background. A gift drawing I drew for my spouse @mr-tiaa featuring our sonas Agatha (angel) and Akina (dog). Akina rests on Agatha's chest in a peaceful setting, some feathers from Agatha's wings floating in the air. The Brazilian flag.

💞🕺💃 Slightly belated post of the Valentine's Day gift I made for my spouse @mr-tiaa.bsky.social 😊 Love you lots and lots, my dear! 💖

A drawing I made as a gift for my spouse of our pokésonas, Ange (Gardevoir) and Iyoh (Audino), in their mega forms. Iyoh has a rose on his mouth and is holding Ange's waist as he dips her in a dance move, causing her dress' tails to fold since she's noticeably taller. The background is full of pink hearts and both are smiling.

🎂 It's my birthday today!

Things have been pretty rough irl so I'm not really in the mood to celebrate, but I'd love getting any kind of engagement (💬🔁❤️) on my posted works ^^

#doodle
A doodle of myself seated at my workspace with my cat Sora lying on my lap. The words "Lv. 33" above my head are surrounded by party popper emojis and there's a speech bubble with the words "I don't really feel older (but my body does)" right next to me.

💫 I started organizing ToyHouse profiles for all of my Pokémon OCs last year :3
There's a lot of people so it'll take a while to write everything down, but here are the icons I made for the profiles I have finished so far!

#pokemontrainer ✦ #pokemonOC ✦ #trainersona ✦ #digitalart ✦ #BRart ✦ #icons
Headshot drawings of three different Pokémon OCs. On the top row, there are two icons of my trainersona, Ryo (casual outfit & contest attire). On the bottom row, there's an icon of my best friend's trainersona, Rocker Lu, and an icon of an old as well as my very first Pokémon trainer OC, Hoenn Champion Melissa.

Hello all, I'm Ryo, an artist from Brazil 💚💛💙 Let me show you my Pokemans!

These are a mix of newer and old drawings, I'm still very fond of some of my older ones 😊 I hope to be able to draw more Pokémon during the upcoming year! 💖

#pokemon
Commission for @sirgallade of his Armarouge OC, Day-Z. Her design has chains around the torso and arms, which she is breaking off of. Artwork of my pokésona Petal, in her Vaporeon form, watching falling stars together with Staryu and Starmie friends. Group picture taken in Alola of my trainersona (on the center) with his party Pokémon (clock-wise, starting on the center): Torracat, Lycanroc, Silvally, Tsareena, Mimikyu and Wishiwashi. Gift I made for my spouse @mr-tiaa of our trainersonas with their preferred water Pokémon (Milotic and a shiny Sharpedo) swimming underwater while surrounded by many Luvdiscs.

🦋 Welcome to Buesky! 🦋
It's long past time to leave the Nazi bar, and you'll have a much better time here. I updated this guide due to the influx of users fleeing Grok's new AI bullshit. Share widely for all the newcomers!
Tips: moving from Xitter to Bsky Before you start following people, fill out your profile! Bio, PFP, banner, and post at least 5 to 10 things. Just reuse your top 10 banger tweets—recycling is encouraged! This way, people will know you aren’t a bot, will see what you are about, and might follow back. Turn off NSFW filters in Settings > Moderation > Enable Adult Contentand at the bottom on Settings > Moderation > Bluesky Mod Service Find your friends from the hellsite using Sky-Follower-Bridge.devNot perfect, but it will find the majority of the people you were following.Beware of fake tools that ask for money! Follow a few feeds related to your interests. In bsky you choose what kind of content you want to see. You can pin feeds (into tabs) to the top of your timeline, and you always have access to the Following feed which shows nothing but who you choose to follow. Block often. Don’t interact with trolls. Don’t quote dunk, comment, nothing. Let them rot in silence, take away their oxygen and they’ll asphixiate. This is the Bsky way. Turn off language filters in Settings > Languages > Content Languages Or you won’t see posts from anyone in Japan, Germany, etc, in your feeds, even if they only post a cool image with no text. Weird, but trust me on this one. Uncheck all to see all posts. Fuck content scrapers. Do not let that trash overwhelm this site, do not share their stolen content. You can block them all with two clicks by going to joabaldwin.com/scrapers and on the top-right clicking on Subscribe > Block Accounts (I know, “Subscribe” is an odd thing to name it, but that’s how block lists work). Use alt text to make images accessible. Helps for translations, readability, findability, and users with slow internet. Turn on Settings > Accessibility > Require alt text before posting It takes time to rebuild, but the best time to do it is right now. Use your last tweets to tell everyone to move, then stop posting. Twitter is a Nazi/AI/bot/crypto cesspit.
