I heard Nicole Wallis announced she will no longer air Trump press conferences live on "Deadline: White House".

GOOD !!

I changed the channel anyway whenever they aired the lying, senile S.O.B. or one of his psycho admin deplorable suckups.

I'm watching the 9/11 Memorial on TV up to the point President Lying Loudmouth gets up to spout his inappropriate bullshit. Then I'm changing the channel.

I've been a systems developer for nearly 40 years and my biggest AI fear is that AI will evolve to the point it will no longer be serving us but it will be us serving it.

I bought this Dolly ornament off of Etsy.

Whenever someone significant to me passes away, I add an ornament to my Christmas tree to commemorate them.

I got the ceramic one but they have a premium glass option too.

If SOB Trump is going to get the Postal Service to screw around with mail-in ballots, then when/if I get my mail-in ballot in the mail then I'm returning it directly to my city's election office to make sure it's received and gets counted.

I always return my ballots about as soon as I receive it.

I saw where Dolly was laid to rest last Friday.

Bless her sweet soul.

I hope they made her good and comfortable like she wanted.

My household will definitely miss her but she left us all with an incredible body of work such as 49 solo albums just for starters.

FXHD is showing "9 to 5" tonight though it's not listed to show.

I love that movie. When it came out in 1980, I went with two friends. We smoked a big "doobie" in the theater parking lot, went in, loaded up with popcorn, drinks and candy then laughed our asses of at the movie.

My hard rock drumming brother called me up and said even he was sad over Dolly's passing.

Just goes to show how Dolly crossed genres.

Back in the '80s, during our AIDS Benefit shows we used to do, my mother used to impersonate Dolly. She'd do the song "Apple Jack" and brought down the house.

Dolly Parton and now Tim Curry pasing away on the same day. 😪

Back on the day I used to go see "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" quite a bit with the audience participation.

In 2004, I played Eddie and Dr. Scott in "The Rocky Horror Show". I loved doing that show. It was a fun show to perform.

I am truly saddened over the passing of Dolly Parton. She was one of my favorite artists and humanitarians.

I listened to her music and watched her movies for decades. I first became a fan of hers when I was a little boy seeing her on Porter Wagoner's TV show.

My dehydrator has been running day and night lately. I have harvested a lot this year especially herbs and jalapeños and there is still more growth time left.

My cucumber plant has produced its last and is dying off. My tomatoes are ripening what's left on the vine.

I hate to see Fall coming.

I watched the "Michael" movie. Jaafar Jackson is the spitting image of his uncle and was able to impersonate Michael Jackson's vocals really well.

The CGI monkey looked like CGI and was a bit too animated. (Do chimps really smile?)

Overall it was an anticipated fare of a movie but enjoyable.

I think my cucumber and my tomato plants are about to quit producing. They're no longer blooming and they're working on ripening the produce already on the vine.

They were good producing plants and I hate to see them go.

I cooked some stewed yellow tomatoes with some of the jalapeños I dehydrated over the weekend. Both the tomatoes and the jalapeños were grown in my little deck raised garden. 😋

I have really enjoyed the cucumbers, yellow tomatoes, peppers and herbs I've grown this year. I hate to see Fall come.

I harvested a good bit of my jalapeños today. I sliced them up and put them in the dehydrator for dried jalapeño peppers for seasoning.

I tasted a raw jalapeño slice and when the spice hit I went WOO!!

I know it's the right level of spice when it clears up my sinuses. 😆

The primary in my area was just for City Council seats.

I voted for who I wanted but out of the three I voted for, only one won and they just squeaked in under the radar.

Sometimes when I'm sitting quietly or lightly dozing, a memory of an old friend, I haven't seen in years, will hit me. I then get the notion to look them up online only to find their obituary.

This happens to me a lot these days.

One thing about aging, you know more dead people then live people.

I don't blame Anthony Fauci for pleading the fifth. I wouldn't tell the asshole Republicans a damn thing either.

It's just another GOP attempt to harass a man who helped even more people from dying from COVID despite Trump being more worried about how the pandemic made him look than people's lives.

My little raised garden on my deck has yielded a lot of cucumbers and yellow tomatoes. I've been making cucumber dip and tonight we're having stewed yellow tomatoes with our entree.

With today's grocery prices, it's nice to have my favorite produce items available for the picking.

This is being a mild 4th of July.

I had to have unexpected surgery on Wednesday and I'm laying around recovering.

Too damn hot anyway.
July 4, 2026 at 3:26 PM
The weather service is calling for rain on July 4th in DC.

It will LMAO if Trump's self-glorification rally gets rained out. 😆

Trump won't stand out in the rain because it will mess up his hair. 😆
June 29, 2026 at 1:03 PM
It's raining here off and on all weekend which I'm kinda glad. It'll be great for my tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers in my deck garden and my flower beds.

The rain will give me a couple days break from going out to water them.

In 1988, I went to New York City with my dear friend, Sean, the year before he died.

We were in Greenwich Village and we had dinner at "The Pink Teacup".

The food was wonderful and the people were sweet as they could be.

I looked up that restaurant and learned that location closed in 2010. 😪

This "Save America Act" should be renamed the "Rig America's Elections Act".

If this thing passes, it will be the end of American Democracy and this country won't be worth living in with the "Christian Nationalists" in power running a dictatorship.

I have tried a plant fertilizer on my raised garden from TPS Nutrients and I can't believe how my little garden has grown.

Looking forward to some nice yellow tomatoes. I have four tomato plants and between all the them there is nearly three dozen tomatoes growing on them. Enough to make sauce.
