I think Control Resonant might be one of my favorite games I’ve played this year. In traditional Remedy fashion, every time I think “there’s no way they could top this”, they somehow do it again WITHIN THE SAME GAME. There is no experience like the Remedy one, and that’s such a good thing.

I'm not as active here as I should be, but as a little bit of a progress update: the story is progressing and while I'm missing my goal of having the book entirely plotted by 9/24 due to some narrative setbacks, I think this is shaping up to be an interesting experience.

I have a special fascination with eldritch entities beyond human comprehension, combined with the devastated, tragic worlds often found in soulslikes.

Coincidentally, what do you think would happen when a god is born but the very nascency of that event allows for that godhood to be stolen?

The standard edition is $60 when AAA studios want to charge you $70-$90 for less. Remedy has been a huge inspiration for me and my writing, I can’t advocate for this game enough.

Not going to lie, I like a lot of what he says in here about protecting the core and soul of Remedy. Especially when it comes to AI.
