Update: with Ellipsus announcing they will have offline-mode soon, I have begun the process of shifting some of my stuff over. :D

Sigh... really wanting to move away from Google Docs, but so far the alternatives I've tried have had shortcomings of one sort or another that makes the switch difficult. (Ellipsus, dDocs, Obsidian)

Something I did last year: design a Robin Hood Jolly Roger for the @intogreenwood.bsky.social podcast!

Now featured on the latest episode about pirates! :D

Episode 77 of Into the Greenwood is available wherever you get your podcasts!!!

Were there noble, or even charitable, pirates?
How egalitarian was it aboard pirate vessels?
Was there a "Robin Hood of the High Seas"?

Dr Richard Blakemore joins us to discuss these questions and many more! 🏴‍☠️

I finally figured out the last sentence of the scene I was writing!

Now I have to figure out the first sentence of the next one.

Yay writing... 🥲

Wrote one line today that might be clever, or at least contains a sufficiently bad pun, but unfortunately the whole scene is supposed to be full of witty banter.

Thinking of posting random things about what I'm doing or thinking of. That's still a thing people do, right?

in case you're curious about how angry Minnesota is about ICE, it was -20 today

Pondering a cosmic horror comic...

Had an interesting dream yesterday. It was in part about the charming friendship of a poor 18-Wheeler spaceship and a rabbit-girl princess, and other part gritty dystopia where tree branches have to be collected by urchins and fed into a machine for a four-dimensional Venus flytrap made of Legos.

Absolutely obsessed with this late 19th century illustration of the Orion Nebula by Otto Boeddicker.

Have a #doodle.

Perhaps one day I will update on social media again.
