This takes place in modern contemporary times without constantly screaming LOOK HOW MODERN WE ARE. 😂 It respects the original, does its own thing, and actually cares about the consequences of what happened in 1978. I really fucking enjoyed this one. 🎃🔪 #Halloween #MichaelMyers #HorrorSky

I really liked seeing how Laurie’s trauma affected not only her, but her daughter and granddaughter too. Michael is fucking brutal here, but in a different way than Rob Zombie’s Michael. He’s still The Shape, just older, meaner, and apparently more creative with murder. 😂

Halloween (2018) basically said fuck the last 40 years of what you saw before, we’re going back to the original! Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode, who has spent 40 years dealing with the trauma of that night and preparing for the possibility that Michael Myers comes back.

Ooooooooooh I should revisit this

Someone’s therapist: “she did what?!!”

Halloween II (2009) Director’s Cut. There’s no doubt Rob Zombie directed this. Laurie is rightfully traumatized, Loomis is a fucking prick, and Michael is an unstoppable-ish juggernaut. This movie is insanely brutal, fucking bonkers, and A LOT. 😂
