Just found out that a childhood friend passed away from an overdose after a relapse. I have such overwhelming survivor's guilt because why am I lucky enough to still be here? Why not her too?

Ya know, if you had told me growing up that I would cuss out politicians online every day, I would've been equal parts fascinated that I had the ability to speak to a politician every day & horrified that I would speak to elected leaders that way...Now it's as ordinary as brushing my teeth every day
