Strong statement 👏 There is time for nuance and then there are headlines or blubs. Scientists and the media have to do a better job at communicating largely undisputed scientific facts on climate change as clearly as possible!
I am a scientist – and the answer is climate change.

Yes, there is nuance. Yes, it could take a long time to identify the precise mechanisms.

But there is no question why ice and snow-related disasters are on the rise. Our planet is warming at an unprecedented rate, and humans are responsible.
In Nepal, it will most likely take months for scientists to understand exactly what led to deadly flash floods that killed over 1,000 people and left thousands missing. Early theories posit glacier meltwater and a thawing permafrost could have contributed to bedrock collapse.

"Die konzeptionell dichteste Studie legt Sandra Klos vor. Sie liest selbstverfasste Lebensläufe von Mitgliedern der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften – nach 1945 ein Refugium Belasteter [...]" Vielen Dank an Dr. Angelina Pils für die Rezension in h-soz-kult www.hsozkult.de/publicationr...

Can s.o. please explain to me how nobody in the US Navy or govmt seems to be ashamed of themselves for openly resorting to the sexual exploitation of Thai sex workers to "alleviate stress" aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln?

Looking for new books to read? Broaden your perspective and read banned books like these: www.ala.org/bbooks/frequ...

Btw, a majority of these stories are normalizing queer and BIPoC experiences. Who is profiting from this kind of censorship?
