Book 75 of 2026. Picked it up because it was a signed copy, but also in a lot of subscription boxes. Took me awhile until I could sit down with it, but the end came too quickly and didn't fully tie up the murder mystery, so now I have to wait for book 2.

Book 74 of 2026. Lost a lot of good people this one, but Carl got to mess up a lot of plans this book. That ending was crazy between the battle, followed by the quick floor breaking, and then the reveal with a crown.

Book 73 of 2026. The series is addicting and always fresh. The murder of a particular character was satisfying and that epilogue is going to bring a lot of emotional damage in the future. Lots of hidden actors and plots going on.

Book 72 of 2026. Bunch of trains and teamwork on this level. Starts off on a sadder note. A few Endgame-ish moments near the end and didn't see one person's death coming at all.

Book 70 of 2026. Found in the bargain bin, but it was a good mystery and even is topical now with a certain case about killing in an altered mind. I dont think we needed the second twist of Patient X, but I'll accept it.

Book 69 of 2026. The finale added a lot more POVs, but felt a little winded with pointless side quests. Even though the timeline changed, I liked how the memories carried on and we got mostly a happy ending for them.

Book 67 of 2026. Quickly resolves the cliffhanger before moving onto act 2. Everything works out relatively well until the spiral at the very end. Trust evaporates in a second. Also get rid of the trigger warnings at the beginning.

Book 65 of 2026. A very descriptive gory book focused around tempting death. The reveal was pretty straightforward, but still manages to pull off a final twist at the very end. We will see what the ramifications look like in book 2.

Book 64 of 2026. An ambitious tale that sometimes tries to do too much and not enough focus on building relationships. Probably will get more exposé next book and make some characters stand out a bit more. Hopefully some plot points get wrapped up too.

Book 61 of 2026. A fast paced second half that wraps up nicely in the end. This series could have easily gone multiple more books since there are 1001 planets involved, but I'm satisfied with how it ended for now at least. Hell Monkey still thrives.

Book 60 of 2026. A fast paced multiplanet treasure hunt to get the royal seal. I think it was smart how one character got a separate pov since they are in the shadows of the others and without it, the ending wouldn't have been as good.

Book 59 of 2026. Meandering tales where nobody really ends up completely happy and most of them end up depressed. Definitely a weaker Lucy Foley book, but it's also one of her earlier ones. The reader ends up being the last one to hold on for hope.

Book 58 of 2026. Hidden camera revenge porn horror tale. The supernatural part was relatively light and half the book was trying to justify actions of the stalker. Fix those two parts and I think the audience would've liked it much better.
