Shoutout to folks for rallying support.

I counted 43 public comments in support of the BRT and 66 against. Phone comments were 11 for, 8 against.

With a much more organized opposition, I'll take that as a W (especially considering the meeting's 3pm Weds time)

If you’d like your rent to be cheaper, your buses to be faster, your families to be safer, and his is the guy to support in Burbank!
I love Burbank. I love our rich film history, our eclectic small businesses, our renowned holiday displays, but most of all I love the people of Burbank. That’s why I’m running for city council. Because I know that while life can be great in Burbank, it can also be challenging.

LA folks, if you have a minute this morning, I encourage you to call your councilmember's office to encourage them to vote to advance ranked choice voting, an expanded city council, and police oversight reform to the november ballot! A critical vote is happening this afternoon and it needs help!

LA Mayor candidate Spencer Pratt posted this pic of him kneeling at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Downtown LA with the caption "God is good."

That's actually a statue of St. Jude Thaddeus, patron saint of desperate cases & lost causes. At this point, he's praying for a miracle.

Here is Tom Steyer personally supporting high school trans athlete AB Hernandez.

I don't think I've ever seen a candidate as brave as Tom Steyer in his explicit support for trans folks. It says a lot that it took a self funded billionaire not dependent on donors to do it.

Would love to see @metrolosangeles.bsky.social Rail operate more frequently at night! Every 20 minutes after 8 pm feels sparse for a region home to the second largest city in the US! 🫨 Every 10-12 would be awesome!🙏🏽

In Boston, MBTA service still runs frequently well into the night!🫢🚇

CALIFORNIA: Less than 2 weeks to vote in the primaries.

VOTE NITHYA RAMAN FOR MAYOR, please!

(A) She's great and has a million ideas for how to fix the city
(B) If you don't, a very dumb and bad man might win

Pratt isn't even Trump 2.0. He's like a buggy Trump beta version. Don't let him run LA!

It’s very telling that Vision Burbank (anti-BRT org.) is using AI slop to create posters for the upcoming special City Council meeting. Instead of using Metro’s official rendering showing side-running bus lanes with street parking preserved, they’re using inaccurate AI-generated depiction instead 🫤

Another interesting fact, if Bass loses this will be the biggest turnover on the metro board since its inception. Mayor+3 appointees, Solis (termed out), Najarian (not running for re-election), and Dutra (lost election). over half the seats!

Nithya's housing platform is so good. Hard to overstate how rare it is to get the exact right person up for the exact right job at the exact right time. She actually knows what she's doing, which is something that we haven't experienced in the mayor's office in AWHILE

Not only does this video detail Jackie Dupont-Walker's *extreme* conflict of interest that is driving this whole crisis, but I've also obtained Bass's motion, which she claims will 'not delay,' but which - fun fact! - will cause a huge delay. Full-on doublespeak territory.

I was on a terrible volleyball team. We won 4 games the whole year (out of 29).

It was terrible, but it was my favorite team of all.

LinkedIn JUST announced that you have to share MORE than just *one thing*

This means you now have to say the TWO or MORE things that helped you sell that business or land that client.

So make sure you add that to your prompts for ChatGPT or Claude. You're welcome.

Why isn't anyone riding in that bike lane in your city? Most likely it's because

1) the bike lane is merely paint on the ground, inadequate for safety

2) The bike lane might be legit but it exists on an island, detached from an integrated network
