Comic WIP! I was outside when figuring out what the pharmacist looked like so she's inspired by a random Pagrati lady. It's fun to be able to work on comics while waiting for the bus! Those 17 minutes would have been frustrating but ended up informing what the page looks like.

I always name my sketches layers sketches but I think I'm being subliminally peer pressured to start calling them pencils. Feels a bit weird?

Is once a week too slow for a webcomic to update? I can do twice
(I have a couple of decisions like this to make and I can actually start posting my new comic online!)

I've been organizing my discord servers this morning. This and organizing bookmarks feels like I'm curating my online garden and making it potentially more meaningful 🥹 We'll see how it goes.

A lot of us seem to be searching for a way to have fun posting on the internet again. Doing it with your cartoonist friends feels super wholesome! 🌸
I started a newsletter-blog with my friends Eleanor Davis, Lala Albert, and Ian Foster-Dimino. Today was my first post! Just trying to have fun posting on the internet again, folks

Killing your darlings means sometimes making a draft for the cover of your comic that you love and then realizing you've pretty much stolen a previous comic cover of yours and you can't use it 😶 oops

Took like 100 hours and didn't manage to get in to swim but I had a great writing session in my head.

I've been drawing on paper with markers! This is weirdly new to me - I started digital drawing early on and now it's surreal to actually have color on actual paper and not a screen! I didn't know this was possible 🤩

Complete silliness!
I made a comic last weekend that was devoid of any deep meaning or emotional processing and it was so out of my comfort zone! I'm lately thinking a lot about what I want to write that is unrelated to my previous work or identity and it's such a trip. Comics are fun?!

working on a colored comic after ages feels like coming home - but I have a lot to figure out. Feels bizarre to have figured out most of your style but having to reinvent basic elements. Let's see how it foes!
