I do get the frustration though. Companies aren’t really doing much to rerelease their old games, so it’s up to emulators and fan ports to do the job of preserving them on their own. Which I can get how some people can say that it wouldn’t be needed if companies just ported their games.

I dunno. I guess the idea is just that companies should just put their games onto PC just as is. Which I get, but I’m not sure if it’s as easy as just uploading a ROM onto Steam and then boom Bloodborne PC.

Probably not. I think it’s more so regarding official ports and remakes rather than fan made ones.

Where did you see it was $80? Everywhere I look it’s like $50 USD.
