I AM mad about it. I already said that I agree with you. I am also disabled, I work part-time. I can't afford to not work now that my disability payments have stopped. You think I'm happy knowing this is going on!?

the only obligation I have is to my client. If there's some way to protect them, I"m going to take it no matter what my company says. But when every single company uses the same system that has AI embedded into it, what am I supposed to do?
September 17, 2026 at 12:00 AM
and I wasn't sharing my opinion. I was sharing a reality of my job: AI is literally embedded into it. I couldn't turn it off no matter how much I'd like to (and I'd love to) Healthcare is a wide industry. I dn't know about doctors but plenty of us do not have a choice
September 16, 2026 at 11:57 PM
I told you, I'm not a doctor. I was not saying you should shut up, and I admit I am not fully aware of how each doctor's involvement with AI works. I only know that there are some of us for whom AI is already embedded into our daily jobs.

is that like me having all these great ideas while driving my car on the highway and of course not being able to remember those great ideas when I get home?

Create a coalition of healthcare providers who want to protest en masse. Create a petition and get them to sign it. Give them a list of phone numbers and many may even make calls about it. But telling them to "turn it off" is just piling more aggravation on them about something they already hate
September 16, 2026 at 1:05 AM
they already know. Because we get notified that it's GOING to happen. Nobody asks our opinion, nobody even cares if we understand it. And then we get notified if we aren't following the new rules that we barely understand with our pay threatened. I am telling you, they do not have the power
September 16, 2026 at 1:03 AM
I"m not criticizing your desire to have this stopped, I AGREE and I'm pretty sure all my colleagues agree. But the advice to "tell your dr to turn off AI" will accomplish nothing because I doubt they have that option (I'm not a doctor). Insurance companies have it embedded in our notes system
September 16, 2026 at 12:46 AM
I get an email if my notes are not full and acceptable. This threatens my companies billing. I do not have a say in any of this
September 14, 2026 at 3:59 PM
I don't think they have a choice; as someone who works in healthcare, we are required to make notes about clients. Insurance requires us to give them information including some notes. Insurance companies are now using AI to supervise our work and decide if we get paid.

From what Ive observed in youth culture today, Adams' wit is a bit light for kids today. Youth culture is very... blunt and pushy. They love being what we consider "rude" to each other. I think they'd find Adams "quaint"

people can and do often turn off their smart devices or turn data-collection off. i turn off the GPS on my phone at all times unless I need to navigate somewhere. People are upset about Flock because they have no choice, no control over it

because I was so pregnant, I got gold star treatment the whole time. We had good seats, I was offered free refreshments and the ushers checked on us several times. When I walked to the bathroom, everyone made way and smiled. We were also the only white people there

when I was scheduling my c-section, I told my OB that it would have to be AFTER the concert. The dr said "what if you go into labor?" I said "labor lasts forever. This baby will wait. i HAVE to see this man. He is not well and will probably die soon so he's not coming back to America"

he sat in the middle for the whole show. People danced ecstatically on the floor. People threw money at him while he sang. People fainted and had to be carried out. People climbed onto the stage and literally kissed his feet.

I had a meeting at the social security building to justify my payments and I put on makeup before I left. Because gosh knows it's really important to be cute at the social security office full of the old, infirm, and transient. I'm sure everyone's day was uplifted by my dazzling presence.

oh shit that reminds me; I saw Alien Sex Fiend back in 1990 when I was pregnant with my first and because I was HUGE (9mos) they let me sit on the edge of the stage. Years later they played town again and I ran into them at a restaurant. Nik asked how my child was doing!

I saw Pigface in 1992 when I was 7mos pregnant. Everyone kept asking to touch my belly. With VERY enlarged pupils they would brush my belly and say "WOOOOooooW!" like pregnancy was just AMAZING to them LOL

us EV owners have to pay a ridiculously large flat tax to make up for the loss of gas tax revenue. I wouldn't mind if it weren't larger than what most ICE owners pay at the pump. Plus the fact that half the time, Kemp suspends the tax for THEM.
