Really fucks me off that me, as a vegan, and a family of an allergen I’m not demanding of options. Always happy to chip in, sort lunches for just us. I check in advance because of allergens and is it okay to just send a lunch I’ll make sure it’s okay for others allergen wise too.

Question to the masses (blue sky lol) - do people not know what al dente means?
Speaking to a food tech person today and I explained what al dente was and she said “oh a cook!” And seemed surprised I knew what that was?!
Is this not common knowledge?

Introduced M to Buffy and whilst I didn’t watch it when it was first on, I can safely say it’s an excellent watch seeing it through her new eyes! Giles is her favourite.

Little bit of added stress and I’m pulling out drawers to reorganise and deep cleaning cupboards… I am holding back on rage buying a wardrobe and mattress. Purely due to the expense as wardrobes and mattresses are expensive

I need to find a better place to buy fruit and veg. Nothing lasts more than a day or so anymore. I used to meal prep more but if I did that it would be off by time you’d eat it.

M’s homework is on Charles Darwin and one of the questions was why he “failed to engage” in school. I said he was a rich doss about who rested on his laurels to rely on family money 😂 (is it obvious I’m not a fan).
