@maddow.bsky.social there’s a very smart content creator on tik tok ( unlearn16) who just posted an excellent post on Puerto Rico. TT took it down 🤬. She’s a Canadian teacher. If you don’t know her- she’s worthy to be on your show. Just sayin’

It is not about Kimmel or what he said. It is about the US government forcing a network to fire someone - no government should have that power. If the network decided this on their own, that’s one thing. But in this case they absolutely did not.

Jimmy Kimmel wasn't suspended because of what he said. He was suspended because the FCC threatened his employer.
That's state-sanctioned censorship and it is a GIANT RED FLAG 🚩🚩🚩 that authoritarianism isn’t *coming* it’s ALREADY HERE. Today it's Jimmy. Tomorrow it's the rest of us.

@maddow.msnbc.com I have a thought- I saw at a recent job fair for ice agents a signing bonus of $50k. Knowing full well that Trump does not pay his bills. Has anyone (media) asked are they getting paid? I bet not….

@maddow.msnbc.com Maybe you can do a segment reminding what happened to the ss officers who did Hitlers bidding after the war ended? And direct it to Bondi, Noem, Miller, and ICE agents. I think they forgot.
