1. Idaho has passed the most extreme anti-trans law in the nation, a bathroom ban. The second offense would be 5 years in jail, and the 4th offense could lead to life in prison due to Idaho's 3 strikes law.

@erininthemorning.com have you heard about this? There's a petition to the FDA to require trans women to enroll on a federal registry to get estrogen prescriptions, and several major anti-trans orgs are backing it.

I only ever heard second-hand from my German relatives what the 1930s were like but it sounded like this. You see the story, it feels wrong, but everyone else around you is just carrying on, shopping, working, going to the cinema. So you do the same. Keep your head down, maybe this is fine? Normal?

The police are not helping protesters. They most likely never will. The police are always on the side of the oppressors because they themselves are oppressors. ICE is doing what the police have always wanted to do.
It is FRIGHTENING. The situation we experienced yesterday with *thousands* of commenters turning our "police escorting ICE vehicle backing up" video into "police are on the protesters' side and helping push ICE back!" in real time was full mental breakdown inducing
