I knew a white trans girl who voted for Trump. She was raised in a republican family and carried those beliefs into adulthood. She wasn’t out to her family because of fear they would harass her. It baffles me to this day why she would vote for a man who promised to carry out that harassment.

I can’t comprehend worshipping an all-knowing being. How could anyone put such faith in something that has never felt the joy of discovery? The satisfaction of intellectual growth? Something that knows all, has always known all, will always know all, is not something I want to covet. (1/3)

I hate the shit about the “rapture coming tomorrow” because my logical brain is like “lmfao what are they yapping about” but my diagnosed OCD/religious trauma is like “you need to repent you’re going to die if you don’t force yourself to believe”. fearmongering is harmful, full stop.
