Gamer. Dog guy. Slayer of nonsense. Anime enthusiast. Haver of optimism. Everything's actually going to be alright in the end.
You're appealing to vagueries and abstract fear because you don't have anything specific to argue "here's why you shouldn't do this"

As a political matter this is just weak.

Democrats have been trying to play exactly this game for years and it almost always backfires.
August 30, 2026 at 7:38 PM
You can say that about literally any considerable action. At some you resign yourself to doing your best and dealing with the unexpected as it comes.
August 30, 2026 at 7:36 PM
Democrats need a real bastard in the presidency pulling them kicking and screaming before they do anything.
August 22, 2026 at 8:35 PM
This feels right.

Paxton and Rogers basically need to hope the economy doesn't get meaningfully worse. Unless you're Mamdani, you never want be on the tail end of voters just being pissed and wanting to vent their anger.

Political malpratice and all that - but I'm tempted to think he wants Democrats to take the Congress just so he can have them for the fight.

Evers deserves a standing ovation if Gov Crowley walks in with a trifecta next year. He's played the long game admirably.

Iran has kept a vicious focus and soon the numbers are going to merit more than a shrug and drunk casino gambling on Wall St.

There will certainly be those who will want to try and assert control after Trump's out of the picture and the logic, I think, will be better a hapless puppet in Rubio than a genuine threat that may answer to no one.

The threat is real and they have to try to subvert it or get railroaded.

Larry doesn't waste time sending out strongly-worded statements - he is the damn statement.
July 31, 2026 at 11:39 PM
They want to keep their heads down and hope they can ride it out.

That only works in 1996 and nobody cares who wins.
July 30, 2026 at 7:36 PM
Dogs at least make no bones (heh) about being honest with you.
July 17, 2026 at 3:30 PM
He's always been this way. However much money he has or however many people he suckers doesn't mean a damn thing.

He hates himself.
July 17, 2026 at 2:13 AM
Good for people who like it. It's just a tough sell for what's basically a computer to folks who already have a solid PC.

Steam at least has the ungodly library to speak for itself. Meanwhile Playstation's flushing the PS3 and Vita down the toilet.
July 8, 2026 at 4:19 AM
I'm sure his heart is in it, but honestly I've never understood why more politicians don't do it. It's one of the easiest gimmies in public life (and also being the right thing to do).

It shouldn't be seen as all that smart but c'est la vie
July 5, 2026 at 4:50 AM
Larry was reportedly unavailable for comment.
June 19, 2026 at 7:25 PM
Ah, Friday the 19th - as in right before the weekend of no trading?

Move along, everyone.
June 14, 2026 at 10:19 PM
It takes effort to get that far into the gutter.
June 14, 2026 at 7:31 PM
Paying people not to summarize books and actually read the fucking book? What a novel thought.
June 13, 2026 at 2:37 AM
Broadcom reports slightly underwhelming growth and everyone and their grandma starts pissing all over themselves.

The frothing madness that'll ensue if Nvidia ever (when??) slows down will be GLORIOUS.
June 7, 2026 at 4:10 AM
Cassidy and Cornyn and all these damn politicians that don't have a lick of fight in them. They should've gone down swinging and now all they have is their faces rubbed in dogshit!
May 27, 2026 at 1:49 AM
Quite. With the only relevant question being how Iran will take this show of weakness to push even harder.
May 24, 2026 at 12:50 AM
Yes. "Heads I win, Tails you lose" bs that isn't actually saying anything.
May 16, 2026 at 9:15 PM
Larry, the paragon of statesmanship that he is, wouldn't speak to a situation beneath his stature - but his continued presence is reassuring nevertheless.
May 15, 2026 at 12:03 AM
I mean when Reform's knocking at your door and the damn Greens are actually becoming relevant...
