Early on and a lot of that had to do with how companys would use desperate black laborers as scabs to union bust. Later unions would become some of the biggist tupporters of the civil rights movement.

Its also worth mentioning there are massive diminshing returns on " graphical fadelity" in newer hardware. Why companys like navidea are quite happy to go all in on AI.
Even now an old 3060 go's a LONG way. Also PC has its own exclusives
