Live with my gorgeous girlfriend, cats, chickens and drum kit in beautiful South West France.

I've just found out that South Yorkshire police have their operations complex on Letsby Avenue and it made me smile so I'm passing it on 😃

One of the many things about France that I love happened this morning.
I left home at 9.45 to go to do a job for a client about 15 mins away, a journey of about 10km.
On that journey, I did not see another vehicle, not one. I think that there are not many places in Europe where this would happen 🇫🇷

We've not had any rain here for months and our garden is white and crispy. Yesterday, in these conditions our idiot neighbour decided to have a bonfire in his garden against all current regulations. I politely suggested that it was a bit silly and was met with a torrent of abuse.

This morning, I drove around the south side of Bristol on my way to the airport to come home to France.
Every single lamp post had either an England or a union flag on it (some had both) along with a poppy wreath. I felt like I was driving through 1930's Germany. It was extremely uncomfortable.

“Guys, they want us to go home.”

🔥 🇫🇷 French short film about what would happen to society if all the immigrants listened to angry old racist white men and left (aka the Republican agenda)

Once central to rural life, cafe-bistros are closing in the face of depopulation and falling alcohol consumption, but campaigners are seeking new ways forward

I took these photos whilst I lay in bed. They are regular visitors who come for the small amount of green grass left in our garden.

This is much better than the Channel 4 coverage btw as its from the person who did the investigation (full kudos to C4 broadcasting and checking it, wouldn’t have the attention it needed without) m.youtube.com/watch?v=RugP...

We've had 2 adults and a young child staying in our gite for a week. They left this morning. I have never had to clear away so much waste from such a small group. It was unbelievable. 4 big bags of recycling, 6 black bags of waste, & so much food in the composting. It's more than we get in 2 months

I hold Mauricio Pochettino in very high regard, but if he plays Balogun this evening, he will go down in my estimation. He should drop the player and stuff it to FIFA and Trump.
Cheating should be treated as such, and fair play should be everything in sport. Balogun himself should refuse to play.
