This is a great point. Many of the athletes that I work with are goal-oriented and have lost the love of the process that they once had. Some of the most impactful sessions that I’ve had have been the ones where we redirect the attention back to the process and realize that the goal likely follows

Momentum exists in sports. We normally only think of momentum as positive. This appears to be a great example of the contrary.

This is exactly what we need more of in the world of sports! The more elite athletes that discuss similar topics, the more normalized it becomes. This is how we defeat the stigma. Thank you Mikaela
