He came out when I least expected it! Sitting on couch and all of a sudden I felt this soft presence at my feet and there he was. Currently having a growl fest as he makes his silent presence known to my other cat.

Thanks. I am currently sitting in my unfinished basement, being a safe presence. I mean: I have looked all over this big square space and he is too big and heavy to get up in any pipes or rafters - they are flush to the ceiling! WTF is he?????

As for my Mom: I have been preparing self for this for a long time. But she has been the Energizer Bunny in our family. Despite that very bad heart, she always rallied. I am grateful she is not scared anymore.

According to people I am healing extraordinarily well. Climbing up/down stairs - dancing = moving from side to side, not a lot of twists, turns or jumps. I'll get there. At the end of a busy day of waking (yesterday/today to/from ship) knees are pretty beat up. The other one is next year.

I am...not. Had a total knee replacement. Missed Christmas and New Year's because of it and then my mother died on 01/06. Now on a cruise and struggling a bit. Having fun because it is a JamCruise music trip with 10+ bands and people are absolutely joyful so it has helped.
