Proof of Concept. Part 1/2
Few things are more jarring than witnessing how ruthlessly our society treats those at the bottom while extending extraordinary forgiveness to those at the top. Yet even that stark contrast is only a fraction of the case for why we need Universal Basic Income. #UBI #StarkContrast #UnfairSociety

Money doesn't have to be "the root of all evil". But it is, because we've made it the root of all existence. From this root grows the very flawed flower we call our current society.

Want a better society? First be a society that puts trust in people before it expects it back. Want a more trustworthy society? Again, be the society that gives before it takes. And people will reciprocate - each time! That is the power of UBI.

A world that's pulling us in all directions, is decisively heading in one direction - climate catastrophe. UBI can help pull us in the right direction; the direction of passion and sustainability. Because chasing wealth is our biggest disability. And thereby an existential liability.

One of the biggest problems with our society is that it overcomplicates the simple and oversimplifies the complicated. UBI helps us with both.

UBI is About Engineering a Systemic Way For People to Self-Heal. In a System That Unnecessarily Inherently Both Causes And Exacerbates Many Mental Health Problems.

In a zero sum game, mostly the ruthless rise to the top. Surely, this cannot be a surprise to anyone with atleast a modicum of intelligence?
#UBI is how we start adressing said conundrum.

If tomorrow’s rappers/singers r still flexing money + superiority, it’s a safe bet UBI still hasn’t happened—and we’re still dodging the urgent problems. Same game: “be better” by having more than the next person, fueled by a system that still allows poverty. All at the cost of our real potential.

MAGA's fault? The truly enlightened realize that neo-liberal politics led to jobs shipping abroad and a population with IQ in decline inevitably eventually voting against their own interests. And at the very root of the problem? The wealthiest. The way it's always been in any crumbling empire.

Studies suggest the more money someone has, the more likely they are to detach from reality and prioritize ego—see Trump and Musk. So why insist the best path is a system that keeps concentrating that power in a few hands, to everyone else's detriment? #UBI #PowerDetaches #PowerToRealityAttached

Only a contradictory narcissist (all narcissists) would rename the department of defense to the department of war, and then seriously claim that he's the peace president.

The bottom line is that the bottom line shouldn't be zero. Not if we care about people truly being free. And not if we care about giving morality and the best in humanity actionable space to grow.

UBI now! Because we're all just trying to find our place in this world. And UBI helps us do it without unnecessary shame, pain and mental struggle.

If we only understood that at the very core we are ALL meaning-seeking, get depressed when we do nothing, and have a yearning to belong to something, it would be clear as day that UBI is the way. Our institutions could work with people's health issues in good faith, instead of exacerbating them.

Don't be dismayed by what national economists say about UBI. They used to say that the 40-hour work week, weekends off, and the banning of child labor would crash the economy too. Thomas Malthus even argued that poor families needing child labour was part of a natural population–poverty mechanism.

In a world that has systemically eliminated the risk of starvation through UBI, employers will have two choices: Either attract people with higher wages, or provide meaningful work. The end result? Better mental health for everyone, and the elimination of work that not even higher wages can rescue.

You like videogames? Imagine the boost to original ideas when developers are free to try things without the fear of utter destitude. This means less crap like CoD and more groundbreaking gems like the GOTY - Cla. Obs. Exp. 33. UBI gives us all the prerequsite for success - experimentation space!

To employers fearing they'll loose employees with UBI; Guess what, you'll have no choice but to "gain an ability" to retain them - either through a pleasant working-environment and meaningful work, or better wages. Become good at either or all, and you're business will thrive like never before.

Think about it for a moment. We could actually have a system that enables people - instead of damaging them. The truth is, we could've had it DECADES ago! This even goes for those at the top. Because greed too is a result of systemically induced psychological damage.
November 30, 2025 at 10:47 AM
The only thing worse than the greedy at the top are the delusional masses in the middle enacting their punch-down agenda, not realizing that they could be just one unexpected event away from falling victims themselves to what they helped enact and sustain.

Do we elect them so they can turn around and take money from interests that seek to divide and dominate us, in order to have our focus shifted away from the sickness that is their unbridled greed?
November 28, 2025 at 9:45 PM
Capitalism was always exploitative and unfair. But now that it's become completely unfettered, it's basically plotting its own assasination. The monkeys at the top are simply too high on their own supply to be able to steer their titanic-sized greed in a direction away from the iceberg.
November 27, 2025 at 3:49 PM
If we do ever manage to get out of the civilizationally existential mess we're in, it will be because we realized that we held back morality on all levels of society - simply by insisting on not systemically eradicating poverty.

In a world where thruth is increasingly sacrified at the alter of power, we need the new social contract of UBI to widen people's capacity to care about things outside their immediate survival.
November 19, 2025 at 6:06 PM
UBI is about understanding human nature on a fundamental level. About truly internalizing the truth that we're all meaning-seeking creatures. About ridding our society of the false dichotomy that we're simply lazy by nature - that 'guess who' profits handsomely off of.
