years ago, a video of someone saying work travel sucks went viral and people piled on saying it was a skills issue. i think about that constantly when i’m in small towns and hotels with no amenities.

for me, i allowed myself unlimited chatter and phone during the pandemic and i never really reformed any habits. the notifications just keep growing and the compulsion to check!
i quit my most active group chat because it’s full of wedding chatter while i’m in separating hell, and honestly, i’d recommend dropping them all except for planning. i’m a little bored during the day, but that’s ok.

Once you have a lot of money it becomes easier to get more money by doing nothing, which disincentivizes work. This is why all our billionaires post insane bullshit all day. If they had to work they'd be too busy to act like this, doubly benefiting society
