I've been to 7 World Cups/Euros following England and tbh, the decision to miss 2026 was primarily down to the cost. Over Xmas, I was tempted to re-consider, but I am very glad I didn't. It seems unsafe for US citizens in America right now so I can only imagine what it will be like for foreigners
