Well, that was absolutely rotten.

Misfortune on some of the goals, but they enabled that misfortune. Midfield wide open after Nico off. Barely able to get any positive moves going in an attacking sense.

The lasses make it two wins out of two. A hard fought, but deserved 1-0 win. Hearts in mouths when Bristol City were denied a stoppage time equaliser due to offside.
The final ball wasn’t quite there at times tonight, but there’s definitely an improvement in attacking incisiveness this season so far

Dominated possession, but created little & let them come into it. Millwall are not a good side, so there can be no excuses from #NUFC at the end of the tie if they don’t put them away.
We REALLY lack anyone who can take a decent set piece.

Anyone else sat in the Gallowgate (top tier in particular) find that the speakers are incredibly loud this season? It’s hard to have a conversation before the match/half time. It actually hurts a bit to be honest, it’s that loud. #NUFC

Danny Murphy wondering why Jacob Murphy felt the need to do a comedy dive through the air shows why Danny Murphy probably shouldn’t be analysing football. Clearly wasn’t paying any attention to the rest of the game, where you wondered what it would take for the ref to give a foul in #NUFC’s favour.

2nd half #NUFC were the better team. Not seen the handball, but from where I was it looked harsh.
