When it comes to your children’s health, listen to doctors.

Not a president who once told Americans to inject bleach.

The American Academy of Pediatrics’ immunization recommendations have not changed.

Hollywood baffled at largest ever feline attendance at opening night,
I am once again begging Hollywood to stop using the Greek alphabet for an Ancient World movie, if they can't afford to even throw a couple of quid at anyone with an inkling of the language.

Unless they really think audiences are dying to see THS THDPSSSSPS

I'm going to burn this whole town down if no one picks up Margo Martindale's long haul trucker movie, her first lead role EVER.

Margo Martindale Just Gave the Film Performance of a Lifetime. Will Anyone Have the Guts to Distribute It?
'The Long Haul' is the gem you should be talking about. Also, she’s about to be in 'All’s Fair.'

Every summer I repost this article on how to spot drowning. Please read it and pass on. In the last few years I’ve had SIX messages from people who saved a kid’s life after clicking on the link from my feed.

Cinema Paradiso

Some films are good the first time you see them. A rare few get better every time you return to them. Cinema Paradiso is one of those films. I can watch it over and over, and each time it feels richer, warmer, and more moving...

President Johnson, in a November 9, 1968 letter to the Smothers Brothers:

“It is part of the price of leadership of this great and free nation to be the target of clever satirists . . . May we never grow so somber or self-important that we fail to appreciate the humor in our lives.”

One thing that bothers me tonight in particular is how so much of this is happening because of grand and sweeping capitulation by the media, by companies, by Congress, by people in power. Even when they don’t have to — they simply comply, acquiesce, and appease.

“Taylor Swift has multiple Grammys. Her Eras Tour added nearly $5B to the U.S. economy. She quietly donates to food banks in every city she visits. Her lyrics are studied at the world’s top universities, not because she’s famous, but because she’s brilliant”
Raise your kids to be like TaylorSwift.

It's hard to argue against the fact that our current economic and political climate is a direct result of the “Citizens United” decision by SCOTUS in 2010.
Politicians are no longer accountable to their constituents.

They now work for the largest donors.
