I don’t want to spent a lot of time doomscrolling. So I tell myself I “shouldn’t”.
So, why do I keep doing it? Maybe because it’s a rule, and I resist authority. Maybe because thinking about how I shouldn’t is stressful, so I ignore that thought. (Are those the same thing?)

I ALWAYS (not hyperbole) feel like I should be rushing, that I am or will be late, that I am behind.
This is useful when it’s true, but always feeling it means I can’t make the feeling useful when it’s really needed.
