Hoping beyond hope that The War on Drugs are supporting Sam Fender on 16th August 2025 @ Wythenshawe Park so I can hear them live like this…incredible. Managed to grab a VIP ticket! 👊🏻 #samfender #wythenshawepark #thewarondrugs

#Corella have 280k monthly listeners on Spotify and growing! A Manchester band with that classic Vaccines/Courteeners sound with a hint of Viola Beach. This is one their best tunes but they have a great back catalog to get your teeth into. “BAHH-SELL-ONA GU-U-URRL”

New single from one of my favourite lesser known bands #palacewinter

A catchy, upbeat electronica sound with a bit of an indie draw.

Only 18k monthly listeners on Spotify but the production on their music is well worth a listen!

New album coming April 25!

Took a while to warm to #Metronomy but they are now a staple in my weekly listening. This tune is in my opinion one of their best. Can see myself meandering through commuters, stomping my way home to this. Full of attitude and an awesome beat #ukelectric #ukbeats

#Wunderhorse are new to me but liking this track and a few others. Nice bit of attitude to it. #newmusic

First saw The War on Drugs on the BBCs Glastonbury coverage in 2023. That set sent me down a rabbit hole which I’m still down now. Incredible music that seems not to want to be anything else other than what it is - which is unique and just itself. #thewarondrugs

Proper little earworm this one from an all-time favourite of mine #Doves . Often underrated but always on the spot. You will have this reverberating around your head all day #music #indiemixer #ukmusic #ukindie

Finally some new music from #samfender

Awesome stuff!

Made the move from X and I’m enjoying it so far. Less adverts, less war videos, less US politics…less random humans being blown to pieces. I have no idea why I was seeing such barbarity and it was 100% affecting my mental health. Hopefully it won’t migrate to #bluesky! #fingerscrossed #firstpost
