Goodbye to the rules: Reform are the masters now
Suffolk’s Reform council broke the rules twice within weeks of taking power. So why are the findings secret?

We need to talk about Richard Tice

In May 2024, Tice told me he didn't expect to fund Reform through his companies any more.

So why did £1m from 'Posh' George Cottrell's mother move through a company he controls, then to Reform weeks later?

New by me:

Richard Tice and Reform’s money - the new unanswered question
Before the 2024 election, Farage's deputy told me he'd stop donating to Reform - so why did £1m from George Cottrell's mother go to one of his companies weeks later?

Britain Means Business, solely owned by Tice, received £1m from Fiona Cottrell, mother of a convicted fraudster.

BMB donated £500,000 to Reform in the run-up to the 2024 general election.

Again, I beg MPs and the government to actually look at the policy they may or may not be implementing and think through both the human consequences and their willingness to have 1/6 of all care staff be deported.
Many govt ministers, advisers and half the parliamentary party have just not yet clocked that Mahmood's could see 750k people (about three-quarters of those on the 15 year route) lose their legal status by 2029.

Mostly black/Asian Commonwealth migrants (eligible to vote!)

It’s about 750,000 people and about 1/3 of them are care workers. About 1/6 of all care workers in the country.

Never before has a politician announced their intention to run for re-election on an explicitly pro-sleaze, anti-transparency ticket. Never before has a politician gloried in having enriched themselves by breaking the rules, and then demanded a mandate to continue doing so indefinitely
Nigel Farage’s 'Pro-Sleaze' By-Election Is A Sign Of Terminal Weakness
The Reform leader's desperate decision to call a back-me-or-sack-me by-election is a sign of a politician who knows he is finally being exposed for the man he really is, argues Adam Bienkov

NEW - Andy Burnham has written a long letter to all Labour MPs tonight - promising a major overhaul of whipping and engagement on legislation, as well as a “broad church” cabinet where ministers routinely engage MPs & select committees.

Funding cuts will mean that only 10 new cases can be supported.
75 will be turned away.

48 hours to open the Straits, which Trump also says US don’t need to have opened, in a war he has already said US has won, and in a situation where he demands help from countries which he also insists US does not need.
Trump is panicking. His latest threats to blow up Iran’s power plants within 48 hours if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened is thick with desperation. It reads like we’re finally arriving at the narcissistic collapse stage where he grasps he’s losing and lashes out hysterically.
