AA, NA, & that bs is just another way for religious people to prey on the disadvantaged. 2 of my friends went, both of them got addicted to the program & were no longer able to safely abstain without completely relying on the program. Neither realised they were replacing one addiction for another.

When there is a problem with our food, the first step is usually tracing the issue back to its cause. In most cases, this will be a particular farm or meatpacking plant. But this year’s many food problems can all be traced back to to *one* cause: A WHOLLY INCOMPETENT ADMINISTRATION.

We need to rename/restructure police, army, navy, marines etc and replace them with something equivalent to the peace corps. Maybe we would act more dignified & less horrific if instead of calling them names of the war machine we named them the thing that we would actually like to achieve instead.
