The concept behind this one was trying to draw something that looks as cozy as the jazz version of On Our Way sounds. Also I want an Eames chair.

I watched Star Trek TNG as episodes came out starting from the early 90s and eventually watched the whole series again via Netflix (back when they mailed physical DVDs) and reruns on digital TV. Much respect and gratitude to Sir Patrick Stewart.

#Inktober2026 Day 22 Beacon
Photo shows a sketchbook open to a marker illustration. On a black background are white letters that read "THERE. ARE. FOUR LIGHTS!" Above that are four lights arranged in an arc. This is a reference to the TNG episode "Chain of Command." To the left of the sketchbook is a black Prismacolor marker. To the right is a black ballpoint pen and a white gel pen. To the right of the spiral on the page written vertically in cursive it reads Inktober 2026 Day 22 Beacon then the date and my handle.

If I had more time I would've drawn Genesis as the singer and Sephiroth as the piano man but alas

#Inktober2026 Days 20 + 21 Lounge Hero
Photo shows a small sketchbook open to an ink drawing of Sephiroth in a tuxedo jacket with an old-fashioned microphone in one hand and a pink martini in the other. The image is based on one of parody lounge singer Richard Cheese. To either side of the sketchbook are the black and pink pens I used on this. In the upper right hand corner it says in cursive Inktober 2026 Days 20 + 21 Lounge Hero 10.31.2026 and my handle.

NEW — I spoke to Tom, the guy at the South Carolina Trump rally who compared the president's supporters to the Jonestown Massacre. We talked about his loathing for Trump, his love of death metal, and where he learned his impeccable comedic timing.

I talked to Tom, the viral ‘Jonestown’ Trump rally guy
He planned to make good trouble. But he didn't expect to be handed a Fox News mic.

Kinda proud of this one ngl LMAO

#Inktober2026 Day 19 Confused
Photo shows a small, spiral-bound sketchbook open to a page showing a one-page comic in ink. In the upper left Trump says on a TV, "Only a Hispanic could survive that fall!" Sitting in front of the TV someone with a big ponytail seen from behind has question marks over her head. She imagines, within a thought bubble, a dark-haired person falling off a ledge. In the next sort-of panel, it says "Latino Righting Reflex kicks in!" and there is my best fast no-pencil attempt at showing that in a human. In the next panel the person is falling but in a controlled way, and lastly he sticks the landing in a superhero pose. In the middle of the page written on the back of the couch in cursive it says Inktober 2026 Day 19 "Confused" with today's date and my handle. To the right of the sketchbook there is a dandelion-shaped pen and a red ballpoint pen, the pens I drew this with.

"Those wings...I want them too."

#ZackFair for #Inktober2026 Day 18 Flightless
Photo shows a small, spiral-bound sketchbook open to a black ink drawing showing Zack Fair from behind as he excitedly approaches a Spirit Halloween shop. In a thought bubble he thinks "Just like I wanted!!" as he looks at costume angel wings and a halo on sale in the shop. To the right of that costume is a jack-o-lantern on a stand, to the left is a pirate costume. A poster reads "SALE!" over Zack's head. In the upper left is cursive writing that says Inktober 2026 Day 18 Flightless, while in the lower right it says 10.25.2026 @sunnyoracle.bsky.social. Above the sketchbook is an inkpen in the shape of a dandelion with a fuzzy top, below it are a pencil and a brush pen.

My upper & lower front teeth actually touch again now (I had bite blockers put in at the start of my treatment) but I messed up the drawing. LOL The black & orange color ties for Halloween are accurate though.

#Inktober2026 Day 17 Contraption
Photo shows a small, spiral-bound sketchbook open to a softly colored ink drawing of disembodied teeth with traditional braces on. The color ties alternate black & orange every other tooth. Sitting atop the upper right corner of the sketchbook are an orange and red color pencil, while in the lower left are a silver color pencil and a black ink pen. Written across the page in cursive is Inktober 2026 Day 17 "Contraption" 10.25.26 @sunnyoracle.bsky.social.

Emo private school Slenderman I guess

#Inktober2026 Day 16 Gangly
Photo shows a small, spiral-bound sketchbook open to a blue ink drawing of a faceless, tall, lanky figure in a generic private school uniform consisting of a dark blazer with a crest, white shirt with tie, and plaid patterned pants. He is hunched over and is holding a backpack strap over his right shoulder. He wears a hairstyle with overly long front bangs that cover where one eye would be if he had eyes. In the upper right is cursive text that reads Inktober 2026 Day 16 "Gangly" 10.25.26 @sunnyoracle.bsky.social. On top of the sketchbook's lower right corner is a blue ink pen with a gold star and sparkly sphere on top like a bootleg Sailor Moon transformation pen.

Despite the late hour and how poorly drawn this is, I am awake and unashamed. LMAO

#Inktober2026 Day 15 Hooray
Photo shows a small, spiral bound sketchbook open to a marker and ink drawing punning on the cover of My Chemical Romance's album "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge," which shows the characters the Demolition Lovers. Only in my drawing they are smiling with their mouths and doing jazz hands, with a valentine heart behind them reading "Sweet Revenge." In the upper left in print it says "Hip Hip, Hooray!" In the upper right it says "Inktober 2026 Day 15 'Hooray'". In the lower left written vertically it says 10.24.2026 @sunnyoracle.bsky.social. Next to the sketchbook at its sides are the pens, marker, and white out I used on this.

Festive Style Tifa sipping tea for #Inktober2026 Day 14 Lady

She's wearing the Elegant Gloves though because that's how I took the screenshots of this fit. I think they match the vibe of this outfit better.
Photo shows a small spiral-bound sketchbook open to an ink & color pencil drawing of Tifa Lockhart wearing her Festive Style outfit from FF7EC. Her hair is in a loose braid with a crown of little white flowers. The top is a black mesh halter going into a ruffled white sweetheart neckline corset. She also wears sheer brown gloves. She's sipping tea from fine porcelain with her pinky up, holding the saucer in her other hand. She sits at a table with a tablecloth, a plate of sweets, and a small glass vase with two lilies in it. She's sitting in a high backed chair that comes to a heart-like scroll at the top.

Was looking through my #FF7EC screenshots and found this one of the time the game glitched and showed the coop lobby over the Chocobo farm. I don't remember what triggered this. Maybe accepting a coop invite from a friend while at the farm.
Screenshot from FF7EC. On the left is the usual menu. Most of the screen is taken up by the Chocobo Expeditions screen in the background, which consists of a green paddock area with two chocobos visible to the right. In the foreground however is the coop party selection screen. It has four rectangles. The second from the left is for my character, Sephiroth, but his portrait didn't load in.

Though I don't shop anywhere that sells ultra flimsy disposable* clothes, for the past 5 or so years I've noticed even nicer stores sell clothing with loose buttons or seams. Everyone should know basic sewing in this age of enshittification.

#Inktober2026 Days 12 & 13 (Don't) Toss & Flimsy
Photo shows a small, spiral-bound sketchbook open to a black ink drawing of a hand holding a sewing needle, which is connected via green thread to what was supposed to be fabric, namely a tank top, but is a bit poorly drawn. (LOL) The green thread is coming off a seam on the tank top. On the left is cursive writing that says Inktober 2026 Days 12 + 13 (Don't) "Toss" + "Flimsy" 10.18.2026 @sunnyoracle.bsky.social. Below that is print writing that says Poorly sewn seam on a brand new tank top. On top of the sketchbook in the lower left hand corner are a black ballpoint pen and a green one.

On a full moon night in early September three years ago, I found a tiny sliver of a kitten with a pink glitter collar roaming the alley. I checked for a name but found none. No chip either. I put up flyers, made posts. No one claimed her, so I kept her.

#Inktober2026 Day 11 Rescue #Caturday
Photo shows a small, spiral bound sketchbook open to an ink drawing of a little kitten sitting on a person's shoulder. The kitten is grey with yellow-green eyes. She wears a shiny pink collar. At the bottom is cursive writing that says Inktober 2026 Day 11 "Rescue" 10.17.2026 @sunnyoracle.bsky.social. Sitting on the upper and lower right corners of the sketchbook are the pens I drew this with: black, green, pink, and a yellow highlighter.

Noticed this random high but small shelf at Michael's. I bet there's a really good treasure up there
Photo shows the wood crafts aisle at Michael's. High above the highest shelf (which is out of reach in itself unless you're like 6'5") is a short, seemingly empty shelf.

Inktober Day 14 - Lady

#inktober #inktober2026 #inktober2026day14 #inktober2026lady #lady #day14
An inktober of a woman's portrait from the shoulders up. She has black hair tied up with some strands escaping. Plump lips, and a fancy hat with a veil that covers part of her face. There's a forest in the background.

A combination of several frames I particularly like from the video to "The In-Between" by #InThisMoment.

#Inktober2026 Day 10 Mystical
Photo shows a small, spiral-bound sketchbook open to a color ink & marker drawing. At the center in the drawing is In This Moment vocalist Maria Brink as she appears in the video to "The In-Between," save for I gave her two sets of her own arms. There are two pairs of red hands gesturing dramatically behind her head. In the lower corners are flames. On all four sides of the sketchbook are the tools I drew this with: pencil, erasers, Micron pens, an assortment of Prismacolor markers, a couple of Winsor & Newton markers, and a white gel pen.
