While the EU Diesel imports peaked to 50% of all Diesel imports in August (before the Iran war it was in the 30s), just 10% of all Diesel used in the EU comes from the US.

So if T stopped Diesel exports to the EU we still would be far from an emergency.

I don't think it was a personal offer. They just offered a price much much lower than the long-time Linux provider. And that indeed mixed with the utter incompetence of the decision makers.

The contract they signed has some flaws (incompetence!), that's why they stick with the old system still.

While Hannover - the capital of the German state Lower Saxony - just moved away from the widely accepted Linux-based system for their schools and back to Apple and Microsoft365. There must have been an undeniable offer.

And other German states' police continue using Palantir.

Good to know that the Canadians build a big LNG terminal on their east coast.

Seems like Trump plays himself at this point, no external help needed.

Fun fact: the homolographic (equal-area) Eckert-IV-projection was widely used in schoolbooks and as a standard for world maps in the 20th century where?

You guessed right, in the US of A.

I agree. Nebraska doesn't offer that many industrial jobs.

And it was deep red in the 2024 presidential elections.

One could ask why Claas announced their plans right now just before the midterms.

These news spark joy.

The Claas facility is in Omaha btw.

Why didn't they do this at the beginning of their silly war already?

How much smaller would the US GDP growth be without investments in AI?

Where would the money flooding into AI be invested if not in AI?

A new conflict to distract 'Muricans from the Iran disaster (and other failures).
August 11, 2026 at 4:46 PM
Let him do it. He's marking his failures.

Lol. You did. Are you no-one?

Stay hydrated.

At least he, his friends and family can cash in on their insider deals again after this new volte-face.

As far as I know this means around 5000 lost Ukrainian soldiers in one month.

Thought about it and came to the conclusion that the Reps may have an interest in Russia interfering with the upcoming election.

Cui bono?

On the US side. Who's receiving a benefit from that on the US side?

And what kind of benefit is it?

It's a meme. From the 2013 movie "The Wolf of Wall Street".

As being said, with Trump not messing up the Gulf region EU would've bought less LNG from Russia.
And the EU just still needs LNG, although the amount is decreasing.
July 13, 2026 at 1:30 PM
All European products. Good.

Canada just ordered 12 European u-boats. Also good.
