I also think this gets to the fundamental question about who the fair is for. The fair started with farm kids. I don't want a fair without them. How do we balance marketing outside of Minnesota with marketing in Minnesota.

It's probably partially a backlash to how much attention has been getting, and the length of the lines, but I've seen more people try to specify that most crop art "isn't really art" this year. And... Do these people go to museums?

Reminder that we had Senator Al Franken because he paid for a hand recount. This isn't even the first time this century a candidate paid the fee.
He never paid the filing fee then sued claiming he shouldn’t have to pay the filing fee. And lost. Because that’s what Lindell does - lose all the time, claim he was cheated, sues, then loses in court. Over and over and over again since 2021.

I love Tyler Adams. I loved watching him play with McKennie at Leeds. I was so ready for this to be a historic year. I could not watch tonight, because I couldn't watch them lose, even if that was best for the World Cup.

In the run up to the 2020 election, I had coffee with a mentor who told me that we weren't ready for universal healthcare because people liked their doctors. I had to explain changing doctors 3 times in the previous 5 years based on insurance decisions. These talking points don't last forever.
My parents are dealing with health insurance issues right now. Today my dad joked that he was ready to sign up for the DSA.
