Just a quick message to my followers, I wanted to apologize for the prolonged absence I've had on this page since (March?). Tldr I've had a lot of going on dealing with the health of my parents and they are currently both in hospice

That awkward moment when you make your entire table cry over an NPC that's sole purpose was to show another player's growth over how bad of a person that used to be. Not sure if it matters much but it was also that player characters ex girlfriend turned temporary party Ally.

I don't know why everyone keeps talking about Mitch McConnell being dead I just talked to him for about 20 minutes on the phone and he said dungeon Masters should stop making players roll for things if a 20 doesn't guarantee success because it slows down gameplay. #dnd

It's been a little bit since I made a post on here rambling about #DND but anybody ever noticed all of these YouTubers talking about mundane problems and a fantasy setting as if magic doesn't exist? Or on the flip side, magic fixes everything? might make it my own video essay about it soon idk

I said it once and I'll say it until the day that I die Republicans don't actually care about children and are not actually pro-life
I would like to point out that over a quarter of a million children in the state of Louisiana alone will starve without SNAP benefits... and most of the Republicans here are focused on putting a Charlie Kirk statue on LSU campus instead

As much as it sucks to possibly leave another table is a player due to my own scheduling conflicts I mean I do have a group I DM for that we're currently bouncing back from some player caused drama (possible vent post with altered names soon) well as a job now so... ugh why is adulting so hard

Imagine trying to start a fight with someone in a Walmart over a pride shirt only to immediately get scared when I tell them "I'm only going to warn you this once while I won't start it I will finish it and I will continue to finish it until the cops pull me off of you half an hour from now"
