(Belated) Day 4 at Trick or Retreat - Fromage, Furnace (x2) and another six player game of Sidereal Confluence.

Day 3 at Trick or Retreat. A game of Dune that ended on turn 3 instead of the anticipated turn 10, and a game of Inis.
Inis was fun, but reminded me why I’m not super keen on the end-game of multiplayer dudes on a map - it becomes a sequence of “block the potential winner” moves, to exhaustion.

Day 3 at Trick or Retreat. A game of Dune that ended on turn 3 instead of the anticipated turn 10, and a game of Inis.

Found my tribe at a Sunday afternoon gaming club in Croxton, Melbourne. Played 1863, which is good but long! 7 hours for teach and play.

A game of Cursed City last night which the players won fairly easily. Mechanics are nice and simple and this was fine as learning mission.

Folowing on from "Careless People", I finished "Character Limit", the story of Musk's Twitter takeover. This book will destroy any illusions you had about Musk being a business genius. He's a rich man behaving like a child, who can afford very expensive toys.

Reviewera seem split - people who want to judge SWW give the book one star, people who want to judge FB give it five stars.
FB doesn't come off well from any perspective. In fact it comes across as outright evil.
