hello / goodbye
the first half of a parallel image set. sf-a2 miki as she appears in "human", in black and white, is facing towards the camera with her expression visible. she is gazing in dazed awe at a second depiction of herself, in full color, whose face is not visible to the camera. her future self is guiding the hands of her current self into embracing a glowing star. the second half of a parallel image set. kagamine len as he appears in "ego renegade boy", in a male uniform with a bandaged face, is facing towards the camera with his expression visible. he is smiling tenderly at a second depiction of himself, in a female uniform clutching an alice band, whose face is not visible to the camera. his current self is patting the head of his past self as he runs ahead.

boxed / freed
the first half of a parallel image set. kasane teto as she appears in "spoken for". her hands are clasped tightly and she stares wide-eyed into the camera; her mouth is blocked from view by a clapperboard. she stands behind cameras and microphones that claustrophobically crowd the space around her. the light shines down on her from above and closes in. the second half of a parallel image set. nekomura iroha as she appears in "streetcat". her hands are stretched up above her head and she's yawning a huge lazy yawn with her mouth wide open. she sits nonchalantly on top of a "NO ENTRY" sign with torn-down warning tape and a broken traffic light sitting out of her way, and the space around her is wide open. the light shines up at her from below and opens up.
