Grown adults remaining obsessed with Harry Potter into their 40s is indicative of the literacy crisis. There is a whole generation of people whose engagement with literature peaked at a 5th grade reading level.

I'm not worried about all these food recalls because food recalls do not enrich shareholders and if I know one thing about companies is that they want to enrich shareholders. The invisible hand of the free market will fix this. I'm sure of it.

Referring to videos, music, film and other art as "content" and their authors as "content creators" is so lame. These phrases contextualize art exclusively as vehicles for ads. If a creator - a creative person - refers to themselves this way, they are not artists, but ad sales professionals.

A lot of the interpersonal drama in The Hunger Games movies would have been resolved if Katniss, Peeta and Gale were just a throuple. These boys need to stop being jealous and get on board with compersion.

If your bathroom or kitchen has any GFCI outlets in it I'd go ahead and replace them with regular outlets instead. GFCI outlets automatically shut off when exposed to water (which is common in bathrooms/kitchens!) which could potentially prevent you from using any electrical devices in those rooms
