One thing that has been interesting returning to finish my college degree in the AI era has been a new focus on ongoing projects that build across a course versus a series of stand-alone assignments. This was not a thing the first time I was in college, and I think it’s amazing.

There is a movie adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut’s “Harrison Bergeron”, it came out in 2009, it features a cast of only white people, and has a bitchy looking lady president who literally shoots Harrison Bergeron to death with a gun on live TV.
It’s exactly as good a film as you think it is.

I really wanna start something like this in my area but my neighborhood is called Valley Glen. Guess I’m going to have to start learning about different valleys and glens.
One of my neighbors has been putting up these fish facts posters. All kinds of different fish, marine, freshwater, deep, shallow, all kinds. This is a good one. “Stg this real fish” took me out. Good work, neighbor.

Started reading a random comedy memoir that was published in 2017 and likely written in the pre-Trump era. Y’all, everything was so much better then. It was truly a different time. It felt like I was reading the 1913 society pages from the trenches at the Somme.
