Corpse flower started to bloom at Huntington Botanical Gardens as we were about to leave today. Glad i overheard staff talking about it so we ran back to catch it.

We had to say goodbye to foster kitten Bagheera. Her little body just stopped fighting and instead of dragging it out with more fluids and more IVs, we and the vet agreed the humane thing would be to let her go peacefully.
She passed wrapped in her favorite rainbow blanket.

Tiny foster kitten Bagheera had an emergency vet appt today when she started to fade quickly.
Vet's gave her sub-q fluids and vitamins, which perked her up a bit.
She is still not gaining any weight, and eats only sporadically. But she still has the will to live so we fight on.

New Foster kittens just came home. These girls are 3 weeks old but the black one is about half the size she should be and show signs of malnutrition.
Time to get to work fattening them up and making them all happy and healthy.
