But these people have convinced themselves that it's the books that were magical, not the communities built around the books. And they're dead set on sharing that feeling with the young people in their lives, without realizing that they will never get that feeling from Harry Potter.

It's important to remember that Columbus was considered a monster and mass-murderer AT THE TIME. If the Spanish in 1500 considered you a genocidal psycho, you were not good.
