Next stop: Washington Dulles international airport. The IMS show was pretty busy, full with appointments and good meetings. But I’m looking forward to be back home again, as always at the end of a business trip. And it’s almost weekend!

Next stop: Boston Logan International Airport. Will attend the exhibition at IMS - the calendar is already completely full. Will be interesting to see the innovations and meet suppliers. I’m sure I’ll get my daily steps easily on this trip…

It will be raining this long weekend here in Maryland, so here's a short throwback to last weekend after we planted all the flowers. But certainly the rain is needed - looking forward when everything is in full bloom!

Next stop: Baltimore Thurgood Marshall international Airport. This was quite an interesting trip with two border crossings into Mexico. But now I’m happy going back to @exilgruenkern.bsky.social and the kids!

Next stop: Phoenix Sky Harbor. Onwards to the southern border, will meet a supplier at their factory in Mexico on Monday. Hopefully the rain here in Miami won’t further delay the flight, it’s some drive down to the Mexican border.

Next stop: Miami international airport. It’s a small plane… I’m on a trip for supplier audits that also will take me to Mexico on two different locations. Will be interesting. Back next Thursday.

Next stop Washington Dulles international airport. It was an intense week with the supplier workshop and meetings at the Dallas office. A lot is happening there right now and it was a pleasure to see that in person, the company is really doing well. Now I’m happy that I’m on my way back home though.

Next stop: Dallas Forth Worth international airport. It’s been a long time that I’ve visited the Dallas office and a lot has changed since then, very busy location now. I’ll be briefly at the office, but the main reason for the trip is a supplier visit. This will be a very interesting week!

We have new chicks - 2 Barred Rock and 2 Easter Egger. So cute … and they are very talkative 🐥
Looking forward to a lot of eggs 🥚 and hopefully they are also cuddly as the other chickens that we had before. @exilgruenkern.bsky.social

Next stop: Frankfurt international airport and then onwards to Washington Dulles International Airport. It was a great week at the headquarters and at the management workshop in Marktoberdorf. Not to forget my mother’s birthday yesterday. Looking forward to be back with @exilgruenkern.bsky.social !

Next stop: Frankfurt airport (and then onwards to Munich). Taking one of the last flights going out before the epic winter storm hits the area. A little bit worried to leave the family behind in this situation.But I’m happy it worked out to be in Munich on my mother’s birthday before I’m going back.

Next stop: Munich Franz Josef Strauß - last flight for this year, one important week of meetings in the headquarters. I know the window view isn’t great but it’s dark outside anyway… was able to get a business class upgrade so I can sleep better. Good night 🌙

Yesterday we did the first time ever "Leberkäse from the scratch". It's actually not that hard with the right instructions 😉. There's a great YouTube instruction video including his recipe from "Da Wolfe, if you're interested in doing that as well. It tasted just like back home in Bavaria 😋

Next stop: Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport. We’ll be on our annual family vacation trip and are looking forward to seeing friends and family. And as a special treat we got upgraded to business class. Very nice, also flying A380! A great start into vacation….

Last night I still had to mow the lawn after a long office day because it has been raining so much in the past weeks. So I started around 8pm, but luckily was able to finish before it was totally dark. Anyway, it was a new experience with fireflies dancing around me while I was mowing. Priceless!

Next stop: Washington Dulles International Airport. Was quite eventful in Munich, but now I’m looking forward to getting home to @exilgruenkern.bsky.social and the kids. As a bonus I’ve received an upgrade to Business Class. Nice 😊

Next stop: Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport. Flying out in the dark, no window seat but I could upgrade to business class with miles. So again no picture, but a pleasant ride for my legs. I’ll visit the R&S headquarters for meetings and a workshop, returning on Friday next week.
