Maybe I was too harsh on Food Wars. I really like how Souma constantly takes down arrogant chefs without fine dining pomp. Really just advocates for the love of good food.

So many anime could be incredible if they would just cool it with the over the top sex stuff. Like, "Wow, a show about a culinary school where students do cooking battles sounds awesome! I sure hope a middle schooler doesn't get depicted getting molested by a squid in the first ten minutes!"
