He essentially gave expensive nicknames to international bodies of water. No one outside of the USA and many inside don’t acknowledge his new names either. With the added bonus of pissing off entire countries, complicating trade and countless other offenses.

Yes. Fighting back would have required doing something difficult and opposing trumps will. It’s easier to close your eyes and make excuses.

Of course Trump is the villain. That doesn’t mean we don’t fight back. I imagine it would
Have brought equal amounts of admiration and anger.

They should have sat him. Integrity isn’t the same as victory. Your statements, while true, show what’s wrong. Sitting him would have allowed some measure of dignity for the players and the game. If you dream of cheating in the game it’s the wrong dream.

Is it reasonable to expect the US team to sit him out anyway? I know he’s very talented but is that how they want to win?
