Three years ago tomorrow, I very nervously gave this speech. I knew my career as a TV journalist was dunzo, cooked, filleted, kaput the morning I wrote it. (Thanks to Kat insisting I go for it anyway.)

The end is awfully prescient at this exact second, though. Big ups to Scott Pelley for fighting.

RAJU: But what evidence is there to prove the California election is rigged?

MIKE JOHNSON: Look, some of these efforts are so diabolical and so far upstream it's impossible to prove. But I think everybody knows instinctively that something is wrong here.

This is what we should be doing with the thieves in the President's residence.
Thank you! What we need are impassioned lawmakers (that is what people in Congress are supposed to do - make laws). Now if we only had a Supreme Court that believed in laws!

In the meantime, Albania ain’t playing with these thieves.

Vote NO on FISA extensin w/o warrent protections. Bill Pulte out, AND privacy protections. This admin is corrupt, punitive, and dangerous. Giving them warrantless surveillance powers is unacceptable.
Trump said the quiet part out loud… he picked Bill Pulte because he wants him to investigate our elections.

This is all just a totally bogus attempt to justify interfering in the midterms.

We must stop Pulte.

We must reject this plot.

NEW at Bolts: For years, Colorado has been ignoring a ballot initiative that was meant to eliminate forced labor in prisons.

A judge finally said enough, and ordered the state to stop punishing people for refusing to work (for a mere pennies).

On the big CO ruling:

Judge Orders Colorado to Stop Throwing Prisoners in Solitary for Refusing to Work - Bolts
Years after voters amended the state's constitution to ban forced labor in prison, a court ruling could finally make Colorado change how prison guards "compel and coerce" work.
