We know why they're winning.
We know how to beat them.

I'm reminded of an old motivational proverb: "where there's a will, there's a way"
The battle has just got tougher. But there is a way to defeat the populist threat. Available here: m.cmpgn.page/wpbppt

When Labour expelled a large percentage of paying members they consigned themselves to fishing in the same pool as Reform, and the Tories. Now they are trapped in a bed of their own making as all the large donations are going elsewhere.
Labour sending out fundraising emails off the back of the Harborne and Delo donations. Yes chaps, that’ll do it.

Is it wrong to wonder how much Reform could receive in donations before any of the major parties actually take action?
Reform have made £72m from two donors in a single day.

Absolutely obscene.

And Labour refuse to cap political donations.

Isn't it funny how political will never quite reaches far enough to actually change anything?

Rewatching Yes Minister. Nothing has changed. Nothing will change.
Hard to shake the impression that the overriding sentiment in Tories and Labour to the Reform donations was envy rather than concern about our democratic system….

What I love about Western democracy is you can bung a political party £ 36 million earned from criminal activity & most media will continue to point at asylum seekers & migrant care workers with families as the barbarians at the gate we need to defend ourselves from 🙄.

Crypto billionaires don’t become crypto billionaires by being generous or altruistic. They become crypto billionaires by being greedy, selfish, amoral, dishonest, untrustworthy shites.

They don’t give away money for the common good.

Is that who should control our politics?

Labour and Burnham have been silent on capping political donations while Reform gets £72 million from Farage's billionaire mates.

We need @zackpolanski.bsky.social in Parliament to hold Labour to account, not another Labour backbencher to wave through Burnham's policies without scrutiny.
September 13, 2026 at 6:30 AM
If Burnham doesn't do something to limit donations, we're all royally screwed. These won't be the last donations Reform or their ilk will receive if nothing is done.
Farage is backed by billionaires and much of the press. The fight is on for our liberal democracy.

There are a ton of reasons why mandatory ID cards are a terrible idea, especially if it's run by an awful American data mining org like Palantir.

Petitions themselves don't do much, but media pressure can help if the signatures get high enough.
