In recent years I've really flipped my opinion on hunter x hunter, i used to hold it in very high regard but the older i get the less i can ignore the brutal pacing mistake that is the chimera ant arc, it simply does not stand up to modern shounen classics like demon slayer as much as i wish it did

when i was working as a translator the few times i was asked to polish up a machine translation i literally just scrapped it all and started over. i'm 100% positive this ended up taking me way less time than if i'd gone along with the client's idea. the pay is awful, too!
Fun fact: "Reviewing an AI made translation" is more work for translators than just translating it themselves, because AI translations do not pass the sniff test beyond the most superficial. It's a loophole companies use as an excuse to underpay translators, and nothing else.
