For all you Canadians,
Maple Scan is an app that lets you snap a photo of any product to check its Canadian ownership, manufacturing background, and local ties and whether it meets "Product of Canada" criteria. If an item is foreign or tied to external tariffs, the app suggests homegrown Canadian substitute

If you'd like a book for your kid, enter a giveaway by posting your favorite Dolly fact/song or favorite book you've gotten from the imagination library.

I will try to get books to folks outside the USA, but with the downfall of book depository my ability to do that may be limited.
Did you write a kids book?

Drop it here

Do you recommend a kid's book?

Drop it here.

Im going to do a giveaway for kid's books this weekend in honor of Dolly 💔💙
I say this and I open the internet to find Dolly Parton has passed away

She would have been a billionaire if she hadnt given so much of her wealth away to kids.

God damn.... RIP to a fucking legend 💔 genuinely upsetting we are losing the good ones first.

A public service announcement for folks going to Worldcon and unfamiliar with the LA region (from a non-LA resident who's been there on business a bunch) - the greater LA area is HUGE. It's bigger than you think. Anaheim is a city that got eaten by LA's sprawl. FACTOR THIS IN

Fun Fact: If you don’t have a discount code at a supermarket or whatever, try entering that with the local area code. I’ve had it work 90% of the time.

Did once have a Young Go-Getter Cashier tell me that entering a fake code was a crime. I looked him dead in the eye and told him to call the cops.

Say what now?
This is the dumbest fucking idea he's had so far.
Rocket payloads are tiny compared to ships or even planes but launch costs are massive. What's his real angle here?
SpaceX wants to use rockets to transport cargo across Earth in a fraction of the time required by ships or planes, potentially reshaping global cargo networks.
