2025 taught me how freedom-hating conservative are. I mean, who knew that your average Republican male could be given just 2 things: the right to own a gun & the right to say openly racist things online & that you could rob him of every other right, protection, & privilege & he won’t say a thing?

This quote perfectly explains why it's been so hard to get MAGA to realize they've been conned by Trump's lies.

But we have to keep pushing out the truth over and over and over again until we break through.

Why is the administration so dead set on desecrating Big Bend National Park. The bulldozers started along the river this week. They are destroying habitat that takes decades to destroy along with archeological sites that will never be replaced. There are very very few illegal crossings there, why

🧵1/6 There are few things in my life I have been prouder to do than wear the uniform of the United States Navy.

I didn't serve a president. I served a Constitution. I served an idea unlike any the world had ever seen...that ordinary people could govern themselves...

This is Missy. She escaped from her backyard and ran straight to daycare, where she had a spa day and got to play with her boyfriend. Lessons were learned, but not the ones her parents probably hoped. 13/10 (TT: spotsplaceyqr)

Martin Luther King's advocacy of non violent protest was critical to the civil rights movement. I think on his day today, more than in any time since his violent death, we need a leader like MLK to organize us to fight back against rising dictatorship.

There sure are a lot of experts on Texas politics weighing in tonight on the race between Talarico & Crocket. Most have never crossed the Red River. Their knowledge of Texas comes from watching Landman & Dallas. Beware of their insights.

"I've never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure." This is a quote that Mark Twain never said (but gets credit for it). I don't care who said it, it was my first thought hearing Dick Cheney was dead. I will shout it from my roof top when the orange baboon exits.

I keep seeing posts that the Democratic Party should go all in on progressive candidates like Momdani. I like this idea; however, there are places where a progressive candidate can't win. Maybe the better thing would be to select candidates that are electable in each district. Dems are a big tent.

Another example of what a shitty job republicans do with governing. All these republican assholes want to do is fight culture wars, they don't help people or improve lives, EVER. All they do is bring suffering and death.

There are procedures and protocols for the destruction of illegal drugs. Things like security, minimum temperatures, amount of time at the required temperature and most importantly state and federal (EPA) permits for operation. Animal carcass incinerators are not designed for narcotics
