The flip side of this, is you have car drivers who are at the other end, who will speed up on yellow lights so they can get through the intersection before the light turns back to red. It works really well when it's consistent and everyone knows the lights are timed well.

This is so disappointing. I know they're in a tight spot but HD Radio is pretty inaccessible unless you plan on listening in a car, which I know most people do. But a chunk of radio listeners are people who keep the radio on all day at home for comfort.

But it would be more straightforward to say Machado gifted Trump *her* prize. So it's curious that they've all worded it in an ambiguous way that could be interpreted as Trump winning it.

This how I feel about politicians when they're proud to volunteer at food banks. My guy, you are the reason people need to come here.

I wonder if part of the extreme shift for men is that their definition of a close friend was different from women in the 90s but now our definitions are more aligned.

I'm hoping this is meant to be an eye opener for Americans to understand just how reprehensible Canadians find the idea, but the framing is 💩 and I'm sure will attract the worst responses.
